Position Summary
The Business Services Cash Management Manager at Meriwest Credit Union is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of cash management services for business members. Position Summary The Business Services Cash Management Manager at Meriwest Credit Union is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of cash management services for business members. This includes overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of cash management products and solutions, ensuring liquidity, and mitigating financial risk. The role plays a critical part in enhancing the credit union’s financial performance while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory standards.
Major Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Design and implement innovative cash management solutions that enhance liquidity, mitigate financial risk, and align with member needs.
- Drive business development by identifying and securing new treasury management opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through onboarding and implementation.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, consultative relationships with business members, delivering customized treasury solutions and exceptional service.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to business members, offering insights and actionable recommendations to support their financial growth and operational efficiency.
- Represent Meriwest at industry and community networking events to expand the business member base and promote the credit union’s treasury capabilities.
Team Leadership - Lead and mentor a team of treasury professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team members’ skills and knowledge.
- Set clear performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team effectiveness.
Strategic Planning - Develop and implement strategic plans for treasury management to support the credit union’s growth and financial objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to align treasury strategies with overall business goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and profitability.
Regulatory Compliance - Ensure all treasury activities comply with federal and state regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Collaboration - Work with Business Service Relationship Managers and other teams to expand our footprint.
- Work closely with branches to develop and expand the network.
- Enhance the branches’ level of knowledge in treasury management through training and support.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Minimum Qualifications - Minimum five to seven years' experience in treasury management or a related financial services role.
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a credit union or similar financial institution, preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, Required
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field, or professional certifications such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with business members and internal stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with business members and team members.
- Ability to analyze complex financial situations and develop effective solutions.
- The ability to motivate or influence inside or outside senior level personnel is a critical part of the job, requiring a significant level of influence and trust. Obtaining cooperation and agreement on important outcomes via frequent material
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to assess financial data and make informed decisions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial transactions and documentation.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including treasury management systems.

The Cash Management Manager position is a Grade 12.
- Target Range: $95,186.12 to $118,982.65*
- The target range for entry in a new position is between the minimum and midpoint of the range, depending on experience and qualifications.
