Role overview:

Job title: Infrastructure Project Manager
Work model: Hybrid work: 50% time in the Warsaw office

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management: 
Ability to directly supervise all aspects of the project lifecycle, where PMP certification and use of SAP or PMI project management methods would be an asset but are not required
Demonstrated experience in collecting, documenting, estimating and prioritizing requirements with business input
Planning and managing the project scope to ensure that commitments are agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters from the infrastructure side - experience in a managerial position in the field of project management is not required but will be an additional asset
Monitoring project progress and tracking milestones of infrastructure activities based on high knowledge of Microsoft Project
•  Infrastructure Budget Management: 
Oversees project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and within allocated limits using the Swimlanes spreadsheet for each project
•    Stakeholder Management: 
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) through the ability to communicate clearly and precisely at all levels in both Polish and English
Effectively collaborates with infrastructure resources alignment with project objectives by leading and supporting project management across various engagement groups (COMM, DBA, ISE, DEV/OPS, Tivoli, Solution Architecture, Solution Design) reporting to IPM Portfolio and PM to implement infrastructure solutions
•    Resource Allocation:
Ensure that adequate infrastructure resources are allocated to the project to meet project needs
•    Team Leadership: 
Ability to make decisions, support innovation while demonstrating personal energy and self-motivated
Lead and motivate Project Infra teams, ensuring effective collaboration and task completion
Ability to problem solve by delivering difficult messages gracefully, executing with limited information and ambiguity 
Communicating project progress, updates, and issues to stakeholders
•    Quality Control: 
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and project goals
•    Reporting and Documentation:
Present current project status during Weekly Project Core Team Meeting and Weekly Infra Team  
Communicate weekly progress on the project and reports current issues during weekly IPM meetings
•    Infrastructure Process: 
Ensure all infrastructure activities are aligned with infrastructure process, company standards, regulatory compliance and best practices
•    Evaluate project performance: 
Facilitates post-project reviews and implements lessons learned to improve future initiatives

Technical Skills:

  • High knowledge of Microsoft Project
  • Ability to directly oversees all aspects of the project life cycle
  • Manages project scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters from Infrastructure side.
  • Polish and English required

Preferred by not mandatory:

  • PMP certification - familiarity with SAP or PMI's project management methodology
  • Experience in a Project Management lead role - planning and managing projects

Responsibilities

•    Develop project objectives based on predefined customer strategy
•    Define scope of effort required to meet objectives
•    Define activities, sequences of events, dependencies and duration of tasks required to complete the project
•    Manage resources and materials committed to the project
•    Facilitate team building and communication
•    Provide direction and decision making for problem resolution
•    Implement corporate operating procedures including communication, documentation, quality, and change control processes
•    Coordinate, approve and track all project related expenses including all hours, materials and services
•    Assess and manage risk of strategic, technical, financial, political and/or business factors facing the project
•    Coordinate across all corporate and regional departments and disciplines to ensure timely and quality product and service deliverables to the project
•    Coordinate all project matters and monitor on a daily basis; assign/delegate tasks as appropriate
•    Report progress in writing on a weekly basis. Identify internal and external factors jeopardizing the project, escalate issues and recommend solutions to functional and/or matrix manager
•    Analyze, review and forecast project spending with Finance
•    Coordinate post project review of policies and procedures employed with a view to improve future projects performance
•    Perform post project and employee performance reviews
•    Mentor less experienced Project Managers and/or Project Specialists
•    As required, manage requirements (business, functional, non-functional, system) 

Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree (preferably in Management, Business, Engineering or Information Technology) or equivalent experience
•    Six to eight years of project management experience with demonstrated success delivering systems including experience managing schedules, budgets, and scope.
•    Certification
•    Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
•    Must be able to pass a security background investigation
•    Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum environments is considered an asset
•    Experience with project management scheduling tools, such as MS Project or Clarity
•    Willingness to travel
•    Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies
